Moss, an entryway bench designed for a modern home with strongwool materials.
This project in collaboration with Campaign For Wool was designed with the characteristics of strong wool in mind, Moss uses the elasticity of strong wools fibres to create a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing cushion to sit down on whilst on your travels in and out of the house.
It also uses the odour absorbent qualities of wool to reduce odours with its inbuilt shoe rack, placed below the strongwool insulated benchtop. This design required skills in CNC milling, CAD software Rhino, wool processing techniques, laser cutting and wood joinery.
